Volunteers use 3-D imaging to map shipwrecks

Australia is on the forefront with exploring shipwrecks. Their teams are using photogrammetry to document the wrecks, and then using that data to learn more (than ever before!) about the ships. They use the photos to 3D model and inspect the shipwrecks.

All in all, the photogrammetry process takes them approximately one hour ... and viola! LOTS of information.
